Today is Guy Fawkes Day! Ask your kids what they learned about Guy Fawkes (as well as the rest of this poem). We watched a couple of short videos to explain what this day is all about in England.
Book Fair - Many thanks to the volunteers for this event. The kids had a wonderful time.
In Library, the students learned about David Thompson before heading into the computer lab to start setting up their Power Point presentation about a famous Canadian.
We set a schedule for Immigration Project presentations next week. I will post these here once I see the list at school. Re-visit here tomorrow.
The kids got their return letter from their Pen Pals today! We started writing back already, and hope to get these into the mail by early next week.
The math quizzes from yesterday went home today; please initial and return for a bonus mark:)
Four pages of fun practice sheets were assigned; many students finished during the allotted class time. These are due tomorrow.
