We've had an easy morning so far. After Assembly we had Book Exchange, Agendas, and Silent Reading.
Math - After recess we learned about improper and mixed fractions. The students are working through their L12 package. This package is due Monday. (notes below)
Grade Five students are being invited to participate in after-school badminton! A form must be signed by a parent and returned.
Singles practice: Mondays 2:30 - 3:30
doubles practice: Tuesdays 2:30 - 3:30
Language Arts - In preparation for our Literary Devices Quiz on Wednesday, students received some Similes and Metaphors worksheets to complete for Monday. We also started a final project for this unit making snow globes.
Two notices went home today:

2) a letter from me regarding Parent-teacher interviews / student-led conferences *Please choose what works best for you!
There is a science quiz on Monday! It is based on the Nature's Energies package we worked through and read together.
