Happy Pi Day! (3.14...)
We started off our morning with a Rap presentation by a group called "Metaphor"! Then back to class so we 'sang' the Parts of Speech rap in our Language Arts Interactive Notebook.
After recess and a game in the gym, we watched a Bill Nye Simple Machines DVD and read through "The Piano", an article about how the piano works. We will be writing a quiz on Wednesday, so this is all in preparation for it!
After lunch, the students went to music to play recorders, and then into the computer lab to work on either Scratch or their mining project, both are due the week after spring break.
Today was dress as a rapper day.
Tomorrow is Dress as your parents day!
