I worked the kids hard this morning, adding lots of notes about Social Thinking into their Interactive Notebook, and adding pictures / sketches to go along with them.
After recess, I returned the math quiz "Show me what you know" from yesterday, and we went over a couple of the problems. We also reviewed how to use digital roots to prove that the answer (sum or difference) is correct.

Next we played a card game: Making Tens. We did not have time to get to the column adding today, although this was written in the students' agendas.
Mr. Pfeiffer took the kids for P.E., while I prepared for our art class this afternoon.
During Art students completed a colour wheel activity, then worked on a landscape using warm and cool colours; pastels were the medium used. Many students finished their masterpiece (see photos below).
Several students went off to Arrow Heights after school to participate in the running club.
