Happy Hallowe'en!

What an exciting day!  We started our morning dissecting a cow's eyeball.  The Stevensons kindly donated some cow parts so we will be doing several dissections this week.  For photos of our dissection, please check out the blog: Cow's Eye Dissection *Special Event

After recess, the kids experienced different Halloween Stations organized by the grade sevens.  The stations included a haunted house, obstacle course, spooky maze, creepy sensory, a scary story, face painting, lollipop ghosts, and mask decorating.

After lunch, we had our annual Halloween parade and a dance in the gym.  We finished our day watching Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin cartoon (1966) back in the class.

*MATH HOMEWORK!  Please count your candy and bring your sheet to school with data so that we can do some graphing!  Thanks.

*Fireworks are at the Centennial Park tonight starting at 8:00.

*If students want to bring in some non-perishable food items tomorrow for the "Scare Away Hunger" program, all will be gratefully accepted.

Enjoy you evening.  Stay safe!
