Okay, I have to get back on track.  Last week we went on a field trip on Thursday and had sports day on Friday... I can't remember Wednesday.  Every day we seem to be working on the play: banners, props, sets, and scripts, so that's a safe bet.

Here's what we did today:

Math, we marked / reviewed the Elapsed Time task cards that we did last week.  We will continue this this week until students are feeling more comfortable / confident with this important skill.

Then we went on to science, introducing Energy, Work, and Force.  We watched two short videos and completed a worksheet (front and back) to go with the videos.  Tomorrow we will finish reading the Wile E. Coyote vs Roadrunner book about Energy that we started reading.

Force Work and Energy Relationship - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PD7a1EWjsTc

Potential and Kinetic Energy lesson for kids - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5WJoup-RD8

These are review for most kids as they researched different types of energy last year.  For others, the videos are good; the worksheets provide notes from the videos.

Music - Mr. Redding took the kids to Music class for even longer today; they worked on the play and doing very well!

After lunch, students completed Agendas before going to Library.  There, we finished up two inventories for Multiple Intelligences and created a Wordle-type page to represent their MIs in order from greatest to weakest strength.

Next it was clean up the classroom and off to PE for a game of "Everybody's It".
