Hello, everyone!  What a beautiful, sunny day!  We went out for PE this afternoon, taking full advantage of the warm sunshine.

First thing this morning, we added notes about prime and composite numbers, factors and prime factors in our math interactive notebooks.  Then we completed some notes in our Immigration lap books for socials.

We had another school wide run just before recess, practicing the longer distance running for sports day.

After recess, Tina came in and worked on the hydro dam banner with a few students.  It is now ready to have its black lines painted on.  Meanwhile, Aiden,  Jackie and Autumn painted the black lines on the Residential School banner so that it will be ready to have colour added on Thursday.

Still others of us created string fish, using nails on little blocks of leftover wood from my fence:)  We sent these to The Modern Bakery for decorations as they are selling fish-shaped cookies this week with the upcoming Columbia River Symposium.

When we came in from PE this afternoon, we watched the video StandUp4GreatBear, a 35 minute video illustrating the people, wildlife, and environment that could be irreversibly affected by supertankers in the Kitimat area.  It's powerful and well-worth watching.
