Bottle Bring-In: We made $97.15 this morning from our bottle bring-in. This will go toward our field trip expenses. Thanks to those of you who donated your bottles.
Beyond Recycling (www.beyondrecycling.ca) is a new to Revelstoke Wildsight program, although it has been done in other school districts. Mrs. Vickers came into our class today to introduce the program; we took a peak at history and the increase of the average weight of garbage per person over the years. This program will be continued throughout the year, with the hope that the students will develop an attitude and habits toward recycling that will last them a lifetime!
Math - We started to mark our Estimating Sums and Differences worksheet today; page 70 was also due but will be addressed tomorrow.
Early dismissal tomorrow - A reminder that students will be dismissed at 12:30 tomorrow; there will not be a lunch period. I look forward to meeting you over the next couple of days to learn more about your child.
