The last day of November!!
Math - This morning we reviewed the math concept of multiplying by 10 or 100.
We also learned about the Kim Sutton Number Line in the classroom. Each student made a number line petit, using the colour coded factors of numbers to 30. This required a discussion about prime and composite numbers. We wrote notes for these terms in our Interactive Math Notebooks.
No math homework was assigned.
After recess and P.E., we read The Story of Oil and completed the assignments in the package. These I have taken in for marking. A few students still need to finish these at home, and hand them in in the morning.
Following lunch and music, students wrote short stories involving onomatopoeia. We will share these tomorrow.
And that was it for our last day of November:)
