This is just a quick overview of our day!
Equivalent Fractions - page 197 - 199 are due tomorrow!
We did some of these together in class. Using a coloured pencil helps visualize equivalent fractions.
Rewrites for the math quiz from last week will take place during lunch time on either Tuesday (if you're ready!) or Wednesday (ready or not) so practice up. Mrs. T. worked with some students today to review their quizzes.
We started Badminton today during P.E.
Language Arts - We reviewed Hyperbole and went over our worksheets together. (Some students did not have their worksheets completed from last week! It is important to stay on top of these, even if it isn't addressed right away or collected for marking.)
Hyperbole posters are now past due!
Science: Energy - We first re-watched a video that we viewed Friday, this time stopping to fill in notes.
Later, I showed them the Power Point prepared by Beyond Recycling, discussing things along the way.
Debates - Students will be working in groups to debate their energy source. Each work will prepare pros and cons for their resource; debates will take place next week with Mrs. Vickers.
The energy sources include: oil & coal, solar, wind, hydro, and nuclear.
Music - Students also continued their Garage Band projects during Music with Mr. Rogers.
Have a great evening!
