Happy Tuesday!
In math today, we started a new timed multiplication sheet and set up a new bar graph for following the results.
We also reviewed LCM and GCF by marking yesterday's assignment. We will do some more of this tomorrow, then write a little quiz on Thursday to make sure everyone knows what they are doing.
In Language Arts, we reviewed the literary devices we have covered thus far, and Hyperbole was introduced. This worksheet is to be done by Thursday; most finished it during class time. The poster was handed out, and should be completed by Friday.
Science - We took a look at Energy today, watching a couple of short videos and completing a worksheet together. This will be an area of focus over the next couple of weeks.
We finished our day doing some Zentangle in preparation for an art project.
Reminders:
Spelling package is due tomorrow.
Scholastic Book Orders went home today and are due Friday so I can get the order in quickly.
*Famous Canadian Power Point presentations will start Thursday, so any students who need to stay in at recess, lunch, or after school need to do so! I will supervise:)
