Good day!

We started our morning off painting our pulp birds and bowls.  These are starting to look really good.  Next week we will put the finishing touches on them, then set them out for display. This has been a long, time-consuming project, but worthwhile, according to the kids.

In math, we watched a Math Antics video about perimeters, and marked our package from yesterday.  *No math homework was assigned.

Ms. Kretchmer covered prep today; she took the kids outside to run around in the glorious fresh air.

After lunch, Mrs. Vickers came in for our Earth Day celebration which we combined with a bit of a going-away for Austin who is moving to Salmon Arm.  As a stewardship effort, we cleaned up the garbage in the wooded area across from the school.  It looks much better now:)   Rhenna and Austin even found two whole watermelons in the forest which we brought back for a snack!  (Okay, so they were hidden there by Mrs. Vickers earlier:))

Reminders:
Tomorrow is curriculum implementation and Monday is Pro-D; no school either day for students.
Students should be ready to test on one of the Human Body sub-units next week.  Don't leave it until the end!
See you Tuesday; enjoy your long weekend.

PS) Sorry the photos are a bit mixed up, but you get the idea.
