We had a very busy and productive Thursday.

We started our day with Library, and worked on our Human Body units.  I tested several students today on various systems; several others are ready to be tested.  There are only a couple more weeks for all four of the systems to be done so focus is needed!

Many kids did the whole school run, while others stayed in to continue working on their science /library.

After recess, we watched a couple of short song - videos about adverbs (see links in Grammar Songs) and did the Grammar Cop worksheet "The Case of the Unexpected Delay".  We marked this together.
This took us to gym class where we started high jump practice.  Mr. Pinko came in to lead the students through a warmup, and to teach them how to do the take-off for high jump.  We will continue to practice this tomorrow.

After lunch, we marked yesterday's long division worksheets, and more were assigned.  These are 3 and 4 step problems, but the kids are managing them quite well.  These are due tomorrow; most students finished them during the allotted time.

At the end of the day we cleaned out our Working Binders and our desks.  We also rearranged the seating and some girls stayed behind to move the desks into place.  Thank you, girls!  I appreciate it:)

REMINDERS:
Jump Rope for Heart - tomorrow afternoon from 1:00 -2:00.  Please bring in the money and envelopes (even if you didn't fundraise) tomorrow.

Have a good evening.
