Library - Human Body units research and testing! This should be finished by next week so some people have a lot to do between now and then.
We had our first two Novel Study presentations: Griffin and Ryan. They were brave to go first, and both did a great job.
We read together an article entitled Adventures on a Hot Air Balloon. This was a prelude to our art project this afternoon.
Yes, we finally started a brand new art project this afternoon. Students extended photos of Canada by painting parts of the foreground and background (mostly sky). Later we will add hot air balloons to the pieces. Students did a practice hot air balloon for the bulletin board in the hallway.
Math - We played a division dice game to practice basic skills.
Special Event: The signing of the Aboriginal Enhancement Agreement takes place this evening at a celebratory event at RSS from 6 - 8:00.
