Good day, everyone.
We had Library first thing; we have been using this time to research / learn about our Human Body systems. I tested a few more kids this morning; many more need to get ready for testing! The end of May will be here before we know it:)
At 9:45, we went outside for the school wide run. A light drizzle made it very pleasant and not too hot for the kids. We will be participating in the school wide run twice a week most weeks; this is part of our P.E. program. The fastest three runners from our class will qualify for the district 800 m. run.
After recess, we wrote the Perimeter and Area Quiz.
After lunch, we finished up with the Beyond Recycling lesson about reading food labels.
*Please help your child complete his/her Ecochallenge and return it to school. Mrs. Vickers will be collecting those and any other outstanding Ecochallenges on Tuesday, May 10th.
**Real Food Pot Luck will be happening on that day: Tuesday, May 10th! We will present and share our food between recess and lunch that day.
