We went swimming first thing this morning. The kids are organized into three groups; all had a good time. After their lessons, they had some free time to play.
The students ate snacks once we returned to class, while I read a couple of stories: Edgar Potato, and Maple Moon. Then we discussed The Three Sisters before going out to the school garden and planting some corn and beans. The squash will be planted in a week or so.
After lunch we marked the math task cards that we did yesterday, in preparation for the quiz tomorrow. We also entered notes about correlative conjunctions in our Interactive Notebooks.
At the end of the day, students were given a booklet to work on, introducing some vocabulary related to Les Sports.
And that is what we did today. I apologize about getting everyone excited about class photo day... that's next Wednesday. I told the kids it was a practice run:)
