It seems like forever since I made an entry. I wasn't here last Friday for sports day so didn't do an entry; my apologies.
Our day started with reviewing long and short division (since we hadn't done math for a while too, it seems). The students worked on their activity packages; early finishers played some division games.
After recess, Mrs. O'Neill came into our class and the students made gifts for the upcoming Aboriginal Enhancement Agreement ceremony to take place Thursday evening at RSS. The kids painted on bookmarks, and medicine wheels for washer necklaces. Thanks for you help, students!
After lunch was Mindful May event; I had my missed prep from Monday. Because the students gave up their P.E. after recess to make the gifts, I promised them an extended period of time outside, so that's what we did:)
