Happy last day of May!
This morning, CPE hosted the school district's field events: shot put, long jump, and high jump. The weather was great and all the kids did a super job in their events. Congratulations to everyone!
After lunch, we worked on our stories or finished up the hot air balloon art pieces.
*I will be checking with each student before Friday to ensure that they are on track with their stories. Some are typing up already.
** I will also continue testing the human body units; these should be wrapping up now.
***Independent Novel Studies are now due; we will be presenting these this week.
I also fit in another lesson about Social Thinking. The kids added notes to their notebooks and drew some pictures to support their learning. I'll post some pictures next time of their work.
