Hello, folks. What a beautiful day... I hope you got to enjoy it. Here's how our day went:
We played 'Scoot' in math. The students moved from desk to desk, answering a variety of math questions related to addition, subtraction, and digital roots. We marked them together at the end; this took the entire math class.
After recess, I read How To Read a Story to the kids in preparation of Little Buddy reading on Friday. The students also wrote a reflection in their journal about a favourite book.
Mrs. O'Neill came into our class for the first of several lessons leading up to Residential Schools.

The kids did a variety of activities to learn about sympathy, empathy, and compassion. We also watched a couple of videos about Orange Shirt Day on June 30th.

Tomorrow afternoon is the Terry Fox run. Our school goal is to bring in $2 for Terry so if this is possible, please remember to bring it in tomorrow.
After P.E., we completed our agendas, had book exchange, and did some silent reading.
HOMEWORK: The journal entry was assigned for homework if it was not completed at school.
Reminders: Subway lunch Friday
