Good afternoon.
It was good meeting with those of you who could make it in these past two days. Please feel free to make an appointment to meet with me after school one day, or before school if that suits you best.
We spent the first part of our morning in the computer lab typing up our stories (from beads on a string); many kids finished.* Some students managed to have time to go onto Mathletics for a short while, or practice the typing program.
*Students were given a Editing Checklist to help them look over their finished piece before submitting it for marking.
After recess, we read with our buddies from Ms. Noel's 2/3 class. We didn't have much time a couple of Fridays ago so did so today.
After Buddy Reading the kids went to P.E. with Mr. Pfeiffer for some stimulating fitness.
Upon their return, we marked the column addition (E and F) from yesterday.
The students completed their Agendas this morning before computers so there are a couple of things that are written down that we did not get to: Fact and Opinion 3 & 4, and setting up our Math Interactive Notebooks. Please note, however, that both the Fact and Opinion #s 1 and 2 are due tomorrow!
