We started our day with some academics!! Students worked on their summaries of the Ecosystem of the Forest article from yesterday. While we were doing this, the school board trustees popped by so our attention strayed:)
So... we started working on our Bald Eagles, gluing on the white heads and beaks before sewing the eyes. The students were given some options about the eyes so they all look wonderfully different.
After recess, we continued with the eagles until Mr. Pfeiffer came to take them to gym. (We didn't do the French presentations left over from yesterday, as planned.)
After lunch, Tina came in and we made needle felted angels! They are looking very lovely... those kids are getting so good at this!
