Our morning started with Buddy Reading with our grade 2/3 buddies. Then we added some very brief notes about the discovery of the Norse settlement in Newfoundland to our lap books. Next, we did Agendas, cleaned out our desks and cubbies in preparation for the weekend.
At 9:30, Cooper's mom brought the kittens whose birth we had seen pictures of six weeks ago.

After recess we did some math: 3-minute multiplication drill and marked yesterday's area model worksheets. Three more practice sheets were assigned for Monday!
This left little time to work on our artist posters but will have plenty of time on Monday for that during Library.

The CPE Carnival is tonight!! 6-8:00! Have fun! There are some fantastic looking cakes ready to be won at the Cake Walk:)
