How are you enjoying these snowy days? This winter is making up for last year's mild weather:)
We started our day with a video / song about 2-digit X 2-digit multiplying to find larger areas. Unfortunately I am unable to link the video here but the students have the lyrics at the front of their package. Two pages of 'problems' were assigned and are due for marking / review tomorrow!
Next, we worked on the Canadian artists posters.
After recess, Mrs. Strange joined our class and helped the kids start painting their replicas. We will continue these over the next two weeks; I would like them to be done before Spring Break. We will present in April.
Mr. Pfeiffer took the kids to PE before lunch.
After lunch, we did Agendas, filled in a couple of things on our Immigration lap books, then watched another video about Vikings while several students completed colouring their fishy tessellations from yesterday.
Following the video, students also worked on finishing up other art projects and/or worked a bit more on their posters.
