Re: The Salmon
Connection
Dear Parents /
Guardians:
As you are
hopefully aware, we will be presenting The Salmon Connection at the Revelstoke
Performing Arts Centre on June 21st and 22nd. The morning performance on the 21st
is a dress rehearsal; CPE students will be invited to attend. The morning
performance on the 22nd will be a performance for AHE and BVE
intermediate students. (Parents are
welcome to attend either of these morning shows.) There will be an evening
performance for parents and the general public on Thursday 22nd. Doors will open at 6:00 pm and the performance
will begin at 6:30; the show is about an hour long. Students should arrive at RSS at 6:00 on the
22nd.
After the evening
show, we will clean up as much as possible before having a little celebration
back stage until 8:30 pm.
Rehearsals for the
show will take place at RSS on Monday 19th, and Tuesday 20th,
so please make sure that your child is at school on time these days as the bus
will be transporting us at 8:40.
Although the there
is no charge for the performance, donations will be gratefully accepted. All monies will be given to the Kingfisher
Hatchery in Enderby; they generously provide education programs free of charge
but are in need of financial support. They
provided our Chinook eggs for our aquarium, and all of the food and necessary
supplies.
Tickets are
required as well, so that we can monitor attendance. Please indicate the number of tickets your
family will need, and return the slip below.
We will send the tickets home with your child.
