After Assembly (where Miya was recognized), we returned to the class for Brain Dance and a quick look at my blog so that the students know what it looks like. Next, we had a few more French presentations and then the Greek & Latin Quiz. All this took us to recess.
After recess, we did an Adding to Nine drill then marked the column addition (three 2-digit numbers). The back of this sheet (four 2-digit numbers) was assigned for Wednesday.
Thank you for getting those permission forms for our field trip to New Denver returned so promptly!
Remember to be at school by 7:50 with ample food, water, and wear layers. Bring a towel and change of clothes if your child is going to swim in the Slocan Lake. Lastly, I didn't mention this to the kids but music is acceptable if appropriate. It is an opportunity for kids to visit so I recommend not bring music, and definitely no electronic games. Thanks for your understanding.
In the afternoon we filled out (and I signed) Agendas and had some silent reading time before working on our boxes. And that's it! See photos below.

Note that Mrs. Campbell and I spent a lot of time today helping kids get caught up. A few kids were away so we did not have the opportunity to help them out.
