Hi all!  Here's our busy day:

IMPORTANT REMINDERS: *This is super important so I put it first!!

The permission forms for the New Denver field trip went home today and need to come back tomorrow!  Monday is a Pro-D day so no school, and we will be leaving the school at 8:00 am Tuesday morning!!

Students presented more of their French booklets this morning and did a fine job.  It's not easy getting up in front of your classmates and speaking a language that you have only just started to learn but they are doing great.

Next, we worked on finishing the lizards and their compliment written in a speech bubble.  Most are on the bulletin board now so check them out.  (Still a few to go.)

In social studies, students were assigned the written portion of All About Canada: A Quick Geography Lesson (pp. 15-16). These need to be completed and submitted tomorrow if they were not handed in today.

We continued with addition drills in math and more column addition practice.  The feedback I am getting from the kids is that this work is helping and is making a difference to the way they add up numbers.

We also spent some time working on the most magnificent things and dehydrated more fruit.

 

 

 A notice also went home for volunteers for the first part of building the Outdoor Classroom!  A copy of the notice is below.
