Hello, Folks. Here's a look at our day:
After Brain Dance (yes, we will be doing this most mornings), we filled in Agendas then went to the gym. Jocelyn's birthday is today so she chose to play Shark Tag.
Upon returning to the classroom, five students were brave enough to do their French booklet presentation: l'alphabet et les nombres 1-10. They did a super job! Several student still have not completed their booklets and/or have them ready for today's presentations. Please support your child by having him/her practice reading to you.
After recess, we did an addition drill (adding to nine) and marked / reviewed the column addition page.
We cut math short today so that they would have some time to work on their boxes (aka Most Magnificent Thing).
This afternoon was music with Mr. Redding and Library with myself and Mrs. Tomm.
Reminder: There will be a short quiz Friday about Greek and Latin Roots (spelling and meaning). French presentations will continue, Zentangle hands are now overdue, and "complimentary" lizards are due by Friday.
Enjoy your evening.
