Another event-filled day!

We went to RSS to see the film SCREENAGERS this morning.  It was very worthwhile and the students got a lot out of this discussion about appropriate use of technology.  I hope that we will have more opportunity tomorrow to delve deeper into some of the situations and opinions that were addressed in the film.

I hope that you will be able to make tonight to the free showing at 6:30.  (See the previous post.)

We got back to school at 11:30ish so played for a bit in the playground and had a snack.  The kids sat very well during the film and follow up panel discussion.

After lunch, Brier Cadden took us outside to discuss forestry in BC, as it is National Forestry Week!  The students also did some tree identification practice.

Upon returning to the class, students finished up their box creations.  Tomorrow morning we will be walking around the school to see what others came up with.
