Happy Monday, everyone!
Students started their day playing their recorders with Mr. Redding during Music class.
With me, they read and answered questions about the article "The Conservationist on the Quarter". Ask your child what it was about, and the possible questions or connection he/she made to it. This was handed in for my review when done; it's homework if not done.
Then, in their Reflective Journal, students wrote about their favourite place. This is also homework if not completed at school.
After recess we did a one-minute subtraction drill then set up bar graphs to track the students' progress. Each child is doing their own, learning about the characteristics of proper bar graphs.
We played mini basketball games in PE.
After lunch and Agendas, we did some science experiments to demonstrate the states of matter. After discussing our observations, students completed a worksheet of this same name. It is in their Working Binder so take a look and ask them to explain their understanding of the three states of matter.
Book exchange and clean up brought us to the end of our day.
Enjoy your evening!
