Hi folks. Here's an overview of our busy day:
First thing this morning Mr. Redding took the kids to music for half an hour.
Upon their return we completed our Phases of Matter booklets from Friday, and started working on a crossword to develop related vocabulary.
After recess we did the usual subtraction drill and graphed the results. Then we reviewed the homework package about Representing Numbers. Everyone seemed very comfortable with the material so we did a quick assessment about place value, standard and 'in words' number representations.
We filled in Agendas before going to PE as well.
Then off to PE for some brief time dribbling basketballs and shooting hoops.
After lunch we discussed the Halloween parade tomorrow (see below) then started to work on our Art Cards some more.
Book Exchange with Mrs. Astra completed our day.
SPECIAL EVENT: HALLOWEEN PARADE
* This year the parade is at 8:35 in the morning. After attendance we will head to gym and begin the event. The rest of the day will be in our classrooms; there will not be a dance in the afternoon.
