Thank you to all the parents who were able to make it to your child's student-led Tuesday and Wednesday. I will endeavour to get FreshGrade going and send photos from time to time. Don't forget to keep checking this blog for notes, reminders, photos, and more.
We started our day with a Remembrance Day ceremony. Upon our return to the class we read "In Flanders Fields" and created a little art project. I laminated them so that they could go home today.
While waiting for their turn to paint, students worked on their Journal entry about their experience with the student-led conferences.
After recess, we did Agendas, finished painting, and did some silent reading while everyone got caught up. Then we read A Bloom of Friendship and answered some questions. Ask your child ab out this article.
After lunch we had PE (Ella chose because it was her birthday today!) and worked on creating Halloween Candy bar graphs.
*There will be a math quiz on Tuesday about representing numbers, place value, value, and more.
