Hi Folks,
I made it back together but not altogether back to "normal". The kids were just the same: very noisy and chatty so we have some work to continue in that department.
We started our morning debriefing the Aboriginal Dance presentation from yesterday afternoon. I actually attended because I wanted to see what it was all about.
Next, we read Holes, either in small groups or independently. Students are, needless to say, at different chapters in the novel.
Mr. Redding took the kids to PE at 9:30.
After recess we created Kim Sutton "Number line Petits". Tomorrow we will continue learning about how the coloured number line in my room 'works'.
Then the students did the Spelling Numbers Quiz which was supposed to happen Friday but I forgot to let the TTOC know. Completing Agendas took us to lunch time.
After lunch we did a directed drawing of the Grinch! We also painted them and re-outlined with black Sharpie. They are looking wonderful on the bulletin board outside the classroom.
Students also had to glue their Zen animal onto their backgrounds from last week.
I have to run to a meeting so no photos but perhaps tomorrow.
