We had a rather eventful day, with a drama presentation at RSS. The drama class(es?) presented several skits about various fairy tales, their truth's revealed. They did a great job under the direction of Theresa Browning, the drama teacher at RSS. The audience was also very well behaved and respectful.
Before going to the play, we thought of emotions depicted by the Grinches we painted before Christmas. We will continue this activity tomorrow, developing our vocabulary surrounding emotions.
*Students also wrote the spelling words needed for Thursday's quiz! (Unit 5 Greek & Latin Roots)
Upon our return from the play, we ate an early lunch, then had some time in the gym before going outside to play for the duration of lunch time.
This afternoon, we did a quick multiplication drill and graphed the results. Then we revisited our art project from last day, working with warm and cool colours to created landscapes. Here are the results; most students finished today.
PAC hot lunch tomorrow for those of you who ordered.
Enjoy the snow out there, folks!
