Good day, folks.

Here's what the Agenda on the board looked like; students were to have copied it down as is.  I signed Agendas today and took at look at yesterday's entry as well.  Some were missing:(  By this time of the year, it is the student's responsibility to complete their Agenda whether I sign it off or not.  Please reinforce the importance of this form of communication.

We just completed the first page of the Greek & Latin Roots (Unit 5) package today, and prepared our little study cards for tomorrow.

Mr. Redding took them to PE and tired them out chasing frisbees:)

In math, we revisited yesterday's lesson about multi-digit multiplication (25 X 6, 138 X 9) and worked through a few together.  *The back side of the worksheet is due tomorrow.* We also did a timed multiplication practice and started a 'magic squares' worksheet.  We will continue the latter tomorrow and carry on with more multi-digit multiplication practice.

For Career Education, we did a short organization activity about how our brain helps us, looking at physically, socially, and academically.

This afternoon was all about art!  We explored warm and cool colours and started creating landscapes using pastels.  [see below]

Reminders:
Dress appropriately for the weather and have extra dry socks (?) for backup.
Hot Asian Lunch orders and money are due Friday.
Written Progress Report surveys / responses are to be returned please and thank you.
