Hi folks!  I hope you enjoyed your BC Family Day yesterday.  The sun is gone and the snow is back.

Our grade fours went Nordic skiing this morning with Mrs. McDowell.

The grade fives chose one of six Martin Luther King Jr., quotes to write about: what the quote means and how its message made the world a better place.  I look forward to seeing what the kids have written.

Mr. Redding took the students to PE where they played floor hockey.  He said that they are really showing improvement, especially in their passing skills.

After recess, Ms. Meagan Noel came into our class for the second Financial Literacy session "More Than Money".  [I hope you received and read the letter that went home last week... it's on bright yellow!] It was super and the kids had a great time while practicing their skills.  The grade fours missed the morning session but attended it in the afternoon with Mrs. Pattinson's class.

This afternoon, the grade fives worked on finishing up their Famous Canadian and  "How to be..." project from Library a couple of weeks ago.  When the grade fours joined us, we decorated pouches  for our Valentines tomorrow!

Notices:

Three PAC notices went home: Carnival, Cake Walk, and Purdy's.

Spirit Day: Beach Day tomorrow!  There will also be a Valentine's Dance in the afternoon for an hour.
