Tuesday, February 27, 2018 Periodic Table video links

Hi folks,
                                        REMEMBER: PINK SHIRT DAY TOMORROW!

The grade fours went Nordic skiing again this morning, their last session.  They returned very tired but excited!

The rest of us started our day by working on our perspective drawings, outlining the large map of Canada's geographical regions, or finishing up homework that hadn't been completed.

Mr. Redding took the kids to PE just before recess.

After recess, Ms. Noel led the fourth 'Financial Literacy' session of Money Matters.  Today's focus was "Running a Business".  Kids learned how to add loan payments to a money tracker, then played a game.

I have to say that the kids loved this program, and Meagan Noel did an exceptional job delivering the program!  A huge thank you for her time, energy, and expertise!
Quiz notice: I will create a quiz to go with this unit, focusing on vocabulary and key concepts.

After lunch, the grade fours attended the Money Matters session next door in Mrs. P's room.  The grade fives had fun exploring the Periodic Table.  Students have been asking about elements so I decided to review elements and the periodic table.  Check out the links below:
