Good day, all.
The grade fours went Nordic skiing again this morning, their fourth and final time with the school. The rest of us learned more about Black Canadians. First, we watched the following video (see link below), then read and shared snippets about various Black Canadians who have contributed greatly to our nation. Ask your child about the person he/she learned about.

Mr. Redding took the kids to PE for my prep time before recess.
The grade fours wrote in their journals about their Nordic skiing experience, while the grade fives wrote about what they learned about Black Canadians and / or our discussions in general about equality.
This afternoon, students wrote the "More Than Money" quiz before going to the computer lab to continue typing up their Holes essay.
We ended our day filling in our Greek & Latin Roots Unit 6 vocabulary cards.
