Happy first day of March!
Our day was a special one. We headed to the District Spelling Bee hosted at BVE first thing this morning. The kids did a great job, Sam stepping in at the last minute to replace our sick fourth place participant. I will post photos of the Bee as soon as they are forwarded to me.
Upon our return, we watched the movie
Holes by Louis Sachar. The students were then given an assignment to work on. They are to write about which they preferred, the movie or the book. They will support their opinion with three examples from the movie / book. We had over an hour to work on this; it will be due Monday.
