After the assembly, we reviewed some French sentences about les legumes, then most of the kids presented their personal booklets. They are working on their pronunciation and fluency. The written portion of the booklets should include proper sentence structure (including uppercase and end punctuation), spelling and accents.
After recess, they had Music with Mr. Redding, followed by Agendas and cleanup with me. I continued reading from REFUGEE by Alan Gratz before going to P.E. We played floor hockey with a plastic puck (much to the chagrin of the class) in honour of the Sedin's last home game last night. :)
This afternoon, the third set of sessions of Exploration Friday began. In Multi-Media Creations with me we created beach scenes to combat the snow earlier this morning!
*I will do a separate post for images from the Multi-Media class.

Dear Parents /
Guardians,
Next week is early
dismissal on Wednesday 11th, and Thursday 12th. The students will be hosting student-led conferences
on each of these days. There will be
half-hour time slots starting at 1:00 p.m., three families per time slot.
Please plan to
come with your child so that he/she can demonstrate his/her learning. Phone Mrs. Echlin in the office [250 837
4744] to schedule a time that suits you best.
If these days do not work for you, don’t hesitate to contact me with an
alternate suggestion.
Reminder: Please
bring with you the survey that was in your child’s Written Progress Profile
envelope, if you have not already returned it.
I appreciate the feedback!
Regards,
