Well, I forgot to take a photo of today's agenda so will just have to describe our day without a visual backup.

We started with an Assembly, but not just any assembly.  Bence organized a Rubik's Cube contest (2X2 and 3X3)!  It was great fun and the contestants, while they didn't break any records, were super!

Special event: CPE students raised $4027.00 for Jump Rope for Heart, surpassing our school goal of $4000!  Way to go, everybody!  Your efforts will make a difference to so many people.

We finally got to writing a journal entry about the sturgeon release field trip we went on on Tuesday!  The kids were to include some facts that they learned about the White Sturgeon that they released.

After recess, Sharon, the "Bee Lady", told us all about honey bees and more, emphasizing their importance in the web of life!  A pamphlet went home, too, so check it over with your child.  There is a "beego" activity to do at home!

Following this, we went outside for some brief play time in the wonderful sunshine.

Then, after lunch, we had Exploration Friday.  I will post photos from my and Mrs. Campbell's 'Multi-Media Creations' on a separate entry.  The kids are having so much fun exploring a variety of materials and projects, as you will see in the photos.
