The students worked hard on their Human Body independent studies and seem to be enjoying it very much. I have tested five students as of Friday, mainly on the Urinary System and the Digestive System. Many are almost ready!
In math, we also learned about comparing fractions:
1) compare the numerators when they are like fractions (denominators are the same)
2) cross-multiply and compare the numbers (We went over some examples as to why this works, creating like fractions but not doing all of the work.)
3) turn the fraction into a decimal, and then compare
