Here's our day:
We had Buddy Reading with our grades 2/3 buddies, and later watched /listened to a story about a donut for National (or maybe International) Donut Day! storybookonline.org
Next, it was time for more testing about human body systems. The last day for testing is coming up next week so your child needs to be ready! Eight people have done their two, two haven't been tested on any, and the rest have done one.
*Some students stayed in at recess and lunch time to get tested - showing great initiative!
After recess, we marked / reviewed the visual representations of equivalent fractions, working on the second side of the worksheet together.
Then we finished putting the invitations together, so your child has yours in his / her Agenda. RSVP once you know how many people in your family will be attending.
We also cleaned out our desks in preparation for our guest artist, Mrs. Duncan, this afternoon. She helped the kids finish painting their sturgeons.
We ended our day with some fun time on the playground because we had missed PE class.
