Hello, folks.  Here's a glimpse of our day:

We always seem to be playing catch up and today was no exception.
We started with Inference Wednesday (because we didn't get to it yesterday) and Context Clues Friday.  Students organized these into their duotangs once done.

At 9:00 the students voted!  Thank you to the Grade 5/6 class and Mrs. Tompson who arranged for the school vote.  We will see how our students' results compare to the federal election results on Monday!

Some students even completed their "Plangendas" before heading to PE.

After recess, the Grade threes went to Mrs. Gadbois's class to work on math, while the Grade Fours did the Math online FSA.  All went well with both groups.  The Grade threes have until Monday to hand in their Math homework to Mrs. Gadbois!!

After lunch, we reviewed potential information for the Power Smart Energy Quiz, then took the online quiz as a class.  Today we scored 10/11 (92%); we missed a very tricky question about the distance that gas-powered cars can go versus Electric Vehicles.

We finished our day working on the coloured corn art projects.

Here are some photos of kids hard at work...
