We finished up our look at the Pros and Cons of natural resources, then took the last online quiz for Power Smart. Some good discussion took place over a couple of the questions and we managed to get full points today!
We also read Town Is by the Sea, about a coal mining family in Cape Breton. While a young boy enjoys the scenery of his town overlooking the ocean and takes us through his day, his father is working in the dark and dirty coal mines under the sea.
