Sorry for the late post. Friday got really bust with Moonlight Madness events at the school for those who signed up, and this completely slipped my mind until today. Here is one of the activities that some students chose to make.
I will just mention key events today; here they are:
BC Hydro presented to whole school today, explaining how hydroelectricity is generated and how it is transferred to our homes. They also emphasized the need to stay back 10 meters from a down power line. One of our students helped with the demonstration that 10 m is about the length of a school bus. Other students demonstrated how their hair stands out due to static!
In the afternoon, we had Explorations sessions for the intermediates. The following are some of the creations from the multi-media group.
