Hi folks!  Here's our day:

We began our day with the dictation for U3 spelling, and checking over our answers in the package.  Students received money for their completed homework!!

REMINDER: There will be a quiz tomorrow morning!

Here are the words again for studying!!

We started to read Baseball Bats for Christmas before heading to P.E.,
then finished it after recess.

We managed to squeeze in a bit of math today, with a focus on rounding.  The students are enjoying the 'rounding to the nearest ten' Drills That Thrill, so we did two of them!  Next, we rounded numbers using number lines, rounding to the nearest ten and the nearest hundred.

Students had a bit of time to go on Mathletics to practice their skills through lessons and activities.

After lunch, Jesse came in for the final class of Farm to Table.  This was great because she discussed the Greenhouse Effect and Climate Change which have been our focus in science these last couple of days.  It's always great when the kids and review and make connections to different classes and occasions to use their knowledge.  The AGRICULTURE, FISH & FOOD in B.C. poster was one of three tools the kids used to complete their work package for Jesse.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Tomorrow is the PAC Christmas Craft Fair.  Our time is right after recess; we will be helping the Kindergarten classes.  Kids are reminded to bring money and a re-useable bag for their goodies.

Enjoy your evening!
