Good afternoon!  What a fun day we had!  Here's a look:

After Advent calendar, we learned about two more Famous Failures: Oprah Winfrey and Albert Einstein.  We read about them and discussed their "failures" and how they overcame them.  Ask your child about what they learned.

In Library, students made a title page on Book Creator, then made a 'talking self' on ChatterPix which they added to their book.  They took a photo of themselves, drew a line where their mouth is, then recorded themselves saying something.  The result: their mouth moves on their photo!  Students also decorated themselves in their photo to make it more Christmasy!

After recess and an extended P.E., today, we learned how to draw a moose head.  I have attached the Youtube lesson here:

Mme. Tedesco was our auctioneer for a while. 

Our auction was held after lunch time, and took us to the end of the day.  Tomorrow students will pay and collect their items to take home.  Pictures below show some of the items they bid on.
