We started right in with setting up Language Arts Interactive notebooks, adding in some of the Greek and Latin Roots we have learned. Tomorrow we will add the next two lessons and will be caught up. I am making up a Kahoot! game which they love to play so hopefully they are more inspired:)
The kids had P.E. with Mr. Cadegan today, then went outside for recess. They are loving this snow!
During Math, we did a rounding to the nearest hundred "Drills That Thrill", then did some practice on a worksheet. The students are feeling more and more comfortable with rounding to tens and hundreds.
Next, we finished up the Christmas Around the World: Canada package that we started yesterday. Students voted to continue these activities in the new year as they are enjoying learning about other countries and their traditions.
This afternoon, we painted the background for our winter moose. I will flatten these tonight!
Tomorrow is our auction! This will be a lot of fun, and the kids are really looking forward to it!
