This is the idiom for the week:

Today we took another look at Proper and Common Nouns.  We also did a worksheet together exploring the rules involved when changing singular nouns to plural.

In Math, we started a new bar graph to document specific multiplication drills. We stared with x2, will do two of these, then move to x3 for two days,  et cetera.  The students will be able to see which multiplication facts cause them the most trouble.

We also took another look at Area Model before moving away from it for a bit.  There are so many things to keep in mind, so we also did a quick review of expanded form, as this is key in setting up the Area Model.  It's coming, though!

I continued reading My Side of the Mountain; we really want to finish it before Spring Break.

We took another look at the Medicine Wheel and how it represents the circle / cycle of life.  Students made a copy for their circle book.

Lastly, we added black paint outlines to the mountains that we painted on Friday.
