Today went a little sideways from what was planned, but was educational just the same:)
Library - Students started gathering pictures for their Famous Canadian Power Point projects - (creating a file folder and tracking the references, as well)
That took us to recess.
Following recess, we discussed further the defeated mall development, and brainstormed ideas about what they would like to see in Revelstoke (further to their Journal entries from yesterday). Some students have begun a letter which we hope to send to the Current for publication.
P.E. was a fun game of soccer skittles; they love that game, and had no time to rest as their was only one pair to rotate off.
After lunch, Mrs. Vickers came for Beyond Recycling. Today we learned about Living and Non-living resources, Renewable and Non-renewable resources, and the impact they have on the environment.
We ended our day taking a brief look at the report card template. We will finish this tomorrow.
Reminders: Tomorrow is PJ and stuffy day to promote Movie Night tomorrow night. Please come at 6 pm to get organized for the 6:15 door opening. Bringing a flashlight tomorrow might be helpful.
